We are excited to announce that we are now the official principal sponsor for the 2015 season for the Wakefield Trinity Wildcats, our local professional rugby league team.
As the club’s main sponsor we will be featured on the new home and away shirts as well as on fan promotion material throughout all of the club’s media platforms. We will also be working closely with the fans and engaging with local communities to help push the team to success!
Kristian Pashley, Plumbcare.com Managing Director, commented on the news saying, “I would like to say what an absolute pleasure it is to become the main partner and sponsor of Wakefield Wildcats and look forward to working with the club. As a company we have always wanted to try something different in regards to promoting ourselves and giving back to the city of Wakefield. By sponsoring the Wildcats and being different to any other run-of-the-mill heating company, we plan to work as a team with the Wildcats as well as develop ourselves into a heating company that people ring and trust should their boiler break down.”
We chose the Wakefield Trinity Wildcats not only for their local location but their fantastic fan base and history. The team was founded in 1873 and is one of the original twenty two rugby clubs formed by the Northern Rugby Union back in 1895. They achieved promotion in 1999 and have since remained in the European Super League, continuing their success as one of Europe’s best Rugby League teams.
Verity Thomas, Commercial Manager of Wildcats, has voiced her enthusiasm for the coming season and partnership saying, “We are so happy to welcome Plumbcare.com to the Wildcats family! We have already begun working closely with Kris, Vicky and the team to establish new and innovative ideas for the impending season”. Chairman, Michael Carter, added, “The investment into our club by Plumbcare.com will extend far beyond the usual brand awareness needs of sponsors and we urge everyone to support this partnership”.
The investment will go into the local firm, the sport and surrounding community, promoting a positive impact on the Wakefield area as a whole.
